Although it was originally thought to be an XBOX360 exclusive, Metal Gear Solid: Rising will indeed be coming to the PS3, and also the PC.

• The crazy thing about this whole scenario is that this was presented at the Microsoft stage. And if you watch the trailer, it says nothing about ps3, only Xbox and Xbox live. very shady.
  Hideo also spoke of retaining the franchise to Sony, if boys and girls you remember that when they came out with metal gear solid 2 subsistence for xbox, that was a cheap pawn of MGS2 for ps2. This is not a pawn at all. No no. This is a full fledged game! and that is pretty scary to think about for ps3 owners, and MGS fans.
  The reason why it is scary is the shear fact that Kojima made ridiculous amounts of money on MGS4 when it game out, and Sony did phenomenal for the first time surpassing xbox and WII in sales for a couple months. Thanks to the combo ps3/mgs4 package.
  So the question stands, did Sony **** on Kojima? What in gods name is going on in which he would take center stage of Microsoft at E3 and present a BRAND NEW metal gear. Remember kids, he always took the stage of Sony. Kind of scary, dont you think?
• Luckily I have both consoles so this wouldn’t be a problem,but still I would have liked it to be a PS3 exclusive.
  I think its going to be released for pc,360,ps3 and even the hand helds.
  I would love to have a gears of war title for the ps3,I reckon the blu ray and the awesome ps3 hardware could make that game so much better.
• The Komami Co. they wanted the new MGS on the Xbox 360 because every gamer owns Xbox 360 then the PS3. If Komami Co. develope on the 360 version, they will make $$$ & it will also help the company. Look @ Bioshock for an example. But mostly is all about politics.
• MGS: Rising is not exclusive.

  the main protagonist is raiden. it was announced today at the microsoft e3 conference. the new kojima game is called metal gear rising and it will be on xbox 360 with a new tagline. They changed it from -tactical esionage action- to -lightning bolt action-

  Fact: Raiden has BLUE eyes (in both MGS2 and MGS4)
  Fact: The character shown in MGS Rising has BROWN EYES
  Fact: Big Boss was on the website timer
  Fact: Big Boss was not that young, and was either burned pretty bad (pre MGS4) or DEAD after MGS4. This makes it impossible for Big Boss to be in the same game as Raiden (in the ninja form)
  IMO, its a load of bullshit. Kojima is just screwing with us, and the real MGS, or next Kojima title will not be MGS Rising, wait until Sony’s conference tomorrow
