Comment posted Xbox 360 Graphics for Metal Gear Solid: Rising? by The Dark Knight.
There will be minor differences in the way the games look because the systems render things differently, but they will be about the same. The XBOX 360 version will probably end up looking better due to a better GPU then that in the PS3. By the way, MGS 4 was 33GB, that easily fits onto a 50GB disc.

- They will be the same PS3 might have a little more of an edge though because of Metal Gear Solid 4. So they have experience with the producers. How is this being a fanboy? We wont be able to know anything because the game has not even been given a release date all thier is is a teaser trailer that just shows the character. The game looks cool though and i’m glad its coming to Xbox 360. I think the graphics will look fantastic on both consoles but PS3 may have the upper hand because Sony has experience with Konami. And because of the fact that they are Blu-Ray disks.
You cant call me a fanboy because I only own the Xbox 360 and I didnt support the 360 in this answer. - Of course the graphics on the xbox360 may be toned down, but you have to consider something. The reason why MGS4 barely fit on the disk is because of all the dialog. It was supposed to have the option to have the dialog in Japanese but there was no more room on the disk, and that one fact speaks for itself.
Games rarely run out of room these days, so it’s not about space, but how fast the data and graphics can be processed… or in other words, the graphics processor, and right now, the PS3 is in the lead in that department. But I would expect similar graphics. - Games which are on both platforms have exactly the same graphics. When a game is released on both consoles, the PS3 version will be a port, which means it’ll look exactly as the Xbox 360’s version of the game. It doesn’t matter how much gbs there is on a bluray, both consoles are technically as powerful and will run the game on the same details. I am positive and 100% sure about that. Unless they do NOT decide to do a port, but that never happened in multi-platform games on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
The game would prob. fit on a DVD since it’s made for both consoles, but the PS3 version will still be a bluray disc (less compression)
*ps3 owner. - Not being a “fanboy,” but the PS3 is a truly powerful machine. There is no way the 360 could contend in terms of graphics, especially since the PS3 has already had MGS4. Not to mention the sheer capacity of the discs. Bluray is how many GB? I think around 60 sounds about right(I’ve forgotten). Compare that to the 360s Dual layer 5GB(Give or take a few GB).
Enough said.

- What Ps2 Game Should I Get Next?
you are out dated. get a ps3 - What Ps2 Game Should I Get Next?
just like he said outdated get a ps3 wii or a psp - What Ps2 Game Should I Get Next?
kingdom hearts2 - Metal Gear Solid Rising?
the main protagonist is raiden. it was announced today at the microsoft e3 conference. the new kojima game is called metal gear rising and it will be on xbox 360 with a new tagline. They changed it from -tactical esionage action- to -lightning bolt action- - Metal Gear Solid Rising?
All these non Metal Gear fans are downright retarded. They are told its Raiden, so they just assume it is.
Fact: Hideo Kojima likes to mess with his fans
Fact: Raiden has BLUE eyes (in both MGS2 and MGS4)
Fact: The character shown in MGS Rising has BROWN EYES
Fact: Big Boss was on the website timer
Fact: Big Boss was not that young, and was either burned pretty bad (pre MGS4) or DEAD after MGS4. This makes it impossible for Big Boss to be in the same game as Raiden (in the ninja form)
IMO, its a load of bullshit. Kojima is just screwing with us, and the real MGS, or next Kojima title will not be MGS Rising, wait until Sony’s conference tomorrow
